Is there, then, anything strange in our heavenly Father’s ordering the steps of His children? 2. 23The footsteps of a man are directed by Jehovah Some join together these two things, first, that the footsteps of the godly are ordered by the grace of God, since men do not in their own strength follow what is just and right, but only in so far as the Spirit of God directs them; and hence the second follows, namely, that God favors and approves what is his own.

And he will make thy righteousness go forth as the light. Others throughout Bible history have discovered that leaving the land was not a good thing for them – Naomi and her family come to mind. 2. Love delights to surpass expectation, and to have greater and greater surprises in reserve. Let us face the fact squarely. xxvi.
